BEN TURK

Ben Turk is an abolitionist organizer and prisoner advocate. He yells at politicians and writes critical articles for ABOLISHmke, advocates for incarcerated people with Forum for Understanding Prisons, helps the MKE Lit Supply send radical and restorative reading material into Wisconsin prisons. In the past, he has helped coordinate outside support for survivors of the Lucasville Uprising, and the incarcerated organizers of the 2016 and 2018 prison strikes. He has co-authored and internationally presented articles on prisoner resistance for peer-reviewed criminological journals and performed anarchist plays in dingy basements, artsy cafes, and university classrooms across the US and Canada.
