PASTOR JONATHAN BARKER

Rev. Jonathan Barker serves as the pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Kenosha.  While serving as pastor there he co-founded the Grace Welcome Center (a community meal program and food pantry that now serves up to 190 families a week) and has stood with the Blake Family in the aftermath of Jacob being shot including marching from Kenosha to Milwaukee and getting arrested during a sit-in in front of the public safety building.  Rev. Barker also is the author of, Jesus Would Demand a Green New Deal, and this spring led and completed a 22-day fast with the Wisconsin 7 for climate justice in the Wisconsin state budget.  Rev. Barker and his wife live in the Old North Milwaukee neighborhood.
