TAI RENFROW

Tai Renfrow has been fighting against prison since 2012. Soon after becoming aware of the atrocities in the system she was arrested and incarcerated herself. She hasn’t stopped fighting since.

With Black and Pink, CLOSEmsdf, the Chrystul Kizer defense crew, and Forum for Understanding Prisons (just to name a few) she has used advocacy, signal boosting, and direct action to expose abuse and demand change for prisoners from all walks of life who find themselves held captive. Tireless and passionate, she pushes the boundaries of struggle including once kicking the Secretary of the DOC’s car during a covid19 solidarity demonstration outside his home.

These days, she is host of the MKE Lit Supply Podcast (mkelitsupply.com) and a collaborator with ABOLISHmke (abolishmke.com). Tai won’t give up until all are free.
