Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Where I Still reside. Like most DJ’s I developed a Love for music in my early years. But even then I had no idea of the gift God gave me that I was blessed with. It became a career for me in my Mid-Teens. In High School (Washington High School) I was on Student Council and Human Relations. Where I perfected my people skills. I learned I was a natural Born leader who was ready to take charge. I went from the Basement to the Clubs to Corporate Events. From the BMO Harris Bradley Center, Italian Community Center, MPD’s League Of Martin, MFD Brotherhood Of Firefighters, Milwaukee Mental Health Services, Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, City Of Milwaukee Office Of Violence Prevention, Susan G. Komen, SDC, Ko-Thi Dance Company and many more. I joined the WNOV 860am/106.5fm Family in June of 1991. I excelled to be the Program Director/Music Director of WNOV 860am/106.5fm 5yrs later. 2021 makes 30yrs in radio for me. In 2017 I was awarded/Given an Official "Key To The City Of Milwaukee" By Mayor Tom Barrett the city's highest honor. I also started an online radio station Blowradio.com in 2008. I have been Awarded 16 Consecutive (Milwaukee Area) “DJ of the Year Awards” I was also honored with the League Of Martin "Lifetime Legacy Award" Also a P. Diddy 2012 National & International “Global Spin Award Nominee” I’ve helped Develop Artist and helped many to achieve Platinum and Gold Hit Records Locally & Nationally. So I guess you can say I’m a Mover and Shaker. I have always helped my community, From Volunteering throughout my community and Organizing community events. as well as being a Community Activist. To Feeding people and directing people to services they need. In 1994 I started my annual “Homer Blow’s Birthday Party For The Kids” which serves thousands of children and families each year for 26yrs and Counting! I’ve given Motivational Speeches at MPS Schools, A Commencement Speaker, CYD, SDC, YMCA’s, United States of America Boys & Girls Clubs, Safe Nights and more.
