JACKIE BOGENBERGER

I have been active in The Peoples Revolution since day 1. I’ve been involved in organizing, planning, constant research, marching, attending meetings, writing emails, working with elected officials, but never leading... because my job remains to listen and learn. Outside of TPR I have committed to bringing light and awareness to various daily cases of police brutality across the country throughout history. I read, I research, and piece together the parts that are often kept out of the media, if even known at all, hoping to use my platform to share the reality of police violence against Black and Brown people. I post these stories sometimes daily, and sometimes they become shared tens of thousands of times across the world. The purpose is to give voice to their names and story, and to allow them to live on. One day, I hope the rest of the world opens their eyes to these truths.
