I'm a 28-year-old visual artist and activist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For the last 10 years my work has been focused on defragmentating the history given to African-American community. I use color as a reclamation of the phrase colored people. Black and White or "white lens" isn't always forthcoming; whereas, color allows a spherical perspective. To be liberated we need a spherical perspective.
