STATE REPRESENTATIVE EVAN GOYKE

State Representative Evan Goyke
Evan was born in Neenah Wisconsin and grew up in Madison. He moved to Milwaukee in 2006 to attend Marquette University Law School where he graduated in 2009. Evan served as an attorney in the Office of the State Public Defender in Milwaukee's adult criminal courts and taught as an adjunct professor at Marquette Law. Evan was first elected to the State Assembly in 2012 and has been elected since. While in office Evan has focused efforts on criminal justice reform as well as currently serving as the ranking Assembly Democrat on the Joint Committee on Finance, which is responsible for crafting the two-year state budget.
Evan lives on the near west side of Milwaukee near North 27th and State Street in the Historic Concordia neighborhood. Evan's wife, Gabriela, is also an attorney and they share their home with their new son Miguel and dog Pistachio.
